Hi I'm Macrae

I grew up in a small town just north of Salt Lake City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an 18 year old. Just graduated from High School. I love working on cars, driving them, or really anything to do with them. I like to spend my time with my family and friends. I have three sisters and I'm the only boy. I'm also the youngest of my family.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has proven to me multiple times that its the true church. Reading the Book of Mormon gives me light and explains things that sometimes can't be explained. Through prayer and reading my scriptures I have gotten answers to question I didn't even know I've had yet. His gospel sheds light on life. When I was younger my father had some health issues. He ended up in the hospital and we feared that he wouldn't make it. We asked a neighbor of ours to give him a blessing. He gave him a blessing for health and many other things. My father had a period of time where he stop breathing. After the blessing was given, the second it was over, my father took a breath and was able to make it to the hospital where he could receive further treatment. My father made it. He survived and I strongly believe that it is because of that blessing that he survived. This church has changed my life in so many different ways. I love it. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church to the earth and that he was a true prophet. I know that my savor lives. And that he touches our life's every day. I love this church and everything it stands for. I love it so much and I don't know where I would be without this.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings of the church. I am preparing to serve a full time mission soon. I leave in September of this year. I follow the teachings of the church not only because its the right thing to do, but because its also a great way to just live your life. Along with doing that you're being a great example to other people around you not only if they're also a Mormon but if they aren't. Its a new perspective on life that some people don't see. I live my faith by helping out in the community. If someone needs something I'm there for them. No matter if its big or small.
