Hi I'm Brayden

I grew up in Texas. I just graduated high school. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I leave for my mission in Los Angeles California in October. I am an Eagle Scout. I plan to go to college at Utah Valley University after my mission. I plan on studying Mechatronics, a multidisciplinary field of engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because it has strengthened my relationship with The Father and His Son. I have used the Atoning Sacrifice of Jesus Christ many times in my life. Without His love surrounding me I would no longer be on this earth.

How I live my faith

I have taught my fellow youth many times and enjoy church activities. I enjoy service projects that help those in my community. I am currently serving a mission in Los Angeles, California speaking Spanish.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Brayden
We believe that we are saved through the grace of The Atonement, AFTER all that we can do. What that means is that we are saved only after God sees that we are doing our best to obey Him. A prophet in the Book of Mormon named Lehi taught, "There is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah" (2 Nephi 2:8).
