Hi I'm Jaimie

I grew up in Idaho. I am preparing to serve a mission in Ecuador. I am a university student. I am a lover of life. I am a mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town. It is small town that seems to be getting bigger every day. I grew up in a great and loving home, with the gospel at the center of everything we did. My family consists of five people including me. I have a twin brother and an older sister. We are best friends. Now don't be mistaken. Just because I was blessed with a great family doesn't mean I haven't had my trials. I have faced many trials big and small, just like many of you. I have also been very blessed. I love to travel, meet new people, and I try to help as many people as I can along the way. I love to see the world through different cultures, and I love this amazing world that God created. I am excited to see what the future holds!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church all my life, but I started to gain a testimony for this church when became baptized at the age of 8. As I grew up I studied the doctrine on my own, and I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover. Reading that book is what helped me to know this church was true. The Book of Mormon is a testament of Jesus Christ, and the spirit confirmed to me that God lives. Christ is our savior and redeemer. Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and we have a living prophet on this Earth today. I know this church is true without a shadow of a doubt. I love this gospel, and I am so grateful to have it in my life.

How I live my faith

I have held a few callings in the church. I have been a leader for the youth group in my ward in my hometown, as well as helped in creating musical performances for the church in our ward choir. My new calling I have received is to be a missionary for the church. I have been called to serve in the Ecuador, Quito North mission, and I will be learning the Spanish language. I will be serving Jesus Christ, and sharing the message of the gospel for 18 months.
