Hi I'm Lacey

I'm a cowgirl through and through. I've also been told I'm the cool aunt :).

About Me

I grew up in the middle of nowhere, and I loved it! I have one amazing sister and six crazy brothers. I grew up farming and ranching, which meant lots of hard work and adventure. The good thing is that when you work hard, you get to play hard too ;). I've always loved to try anything new and different, but some of my favorite things to do are camping, hunting, riding horses, and sports! I also love a good book or movie when I have time (or when I don't have time too haha). I just graduated from college with a bachelors degree in some cool animal stuff because I can't get enough of them! Especially horses. From working cows, going on trail rides, and competing at the rodeos, I'm on my horse a lot. :)

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many things that I love about being a Mormon. I dont have enough room to name them all! One thing that I love about being a Mormon though, is that I know I don't have to go through hard experiences alone. I learned early on that life is hard, sometimes harder than we think we can handle. Well I'm here to say that God is real, He loves us, and he is ALWAYS there for us. When I have this knowledge, I have the courage to face the future with hope and love. I'm so far from perfect its depressing, but I love being a Mormon because I know that if I fail, it's still going to be alright. I know everything will work out, because Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. He loves me, you, and everyone so much that He gave His life for us. I know that if I just keep trying and do my best, that I can be happy :).

How I live my faith

One thing I always try to do, is be the best example I can be. I'm not perfect, but I know that it is important for everyone around me to know I believe in Christ. You can't just go around telling others what you believe, you have to live it too. That's what I try my best to do. Right now, I have the opportunity to teach Sunday school to 6 and 7 year olds. I love these little kids! They are a rambunctious bunch, but it's so rewarding to teach them about Jesus Christ. I've helped plan and carry out many activities, from fun to service, in my church. I also am a volunteer referee for volleyball tournaments and other youth activities in my community.
