Hi I'm Daxton

I grew up in Utah, I love Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Daxton. I have lived in Utah my whole life and I leave in a week on an LDS Mission to Bolivia. I love the outdoors and looking at all of God's wonderful creations. I love to go hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, everything. I love baseball and football as well. Watching and playing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to love Jesus Christ and to follow his example. Plain and simple. I choose to live as he lived as best as I can so that one day, I can be worthy to be in his presence and to be in his presence with my family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church every Sunday. I am an Elder in my ward and service is what we are involved in a lot of the time. We are continually finding others to serve and doing it willingly. As an Elder, I have chosen to serve a mission for two years of my life, to bring others to the happiness that I feel from this gospel every day of my life.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

A common rumor that many people hear and believe is that Mormon's aren't Christian. Which is not true at all. We like every other Christian church believe in Jesus Christ and follow his teachings. That's in fact what makes a Christian, a Christian. We believe in Christ and we look at him as our Savior and Redeemer. The Holy Bible testifies of Jesus Christ and the miracles that He performed while on this Earth. Many have heard that we only believe in the Book of Mormon and that it is "our bible". This is also not true. We don't look at this book as a replacement of the Bible, but as another testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
