Hi I'm Eileen

I grew up in the USA and I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I love getting together with family and friends. Family traditions are very big with me. I enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, riding ATV's and going for automobile rides. I married very young and finished high school the same year my two oldest children graduated. I have worked a number of places but two of my favorite jobs were Warehousing and Forest Service.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the mormon church but fell away from being active while in my teens. I have been married three times and my third husband was my charm. We have four children, two girls and two boys. We brought two families together and through adoption and the birth of our youngest child we made them all ours. All of my children also chose to be baptized into the church. I may not have been active but I have always known that The Church Of Jesus Christ was the true church. Through forty years of marriage we had visits from different members of the church and they always treated us with the utmost respect and we enjoyed them coming, and then one day my husband and I had a member of our church come to visit and that visit changed our lives forever. We had been going through some of the hardest struggles in our marriage and this member bore his testimony of the church. He was so down to earth and honest about his feelings that we made a connection that had never been there before. About the third visit he invited us to come to church. We talked it over and decided to attend so I phoned the home teacher and ask him where and what time did church start. Him and his wife were right there on Sunday and sat with us during church and from that day on we have never missed a Sunday unless we were sick or had an emergency and come this Sept. 1st it will be three years. For forty years we always felt like we were happy but the peace, fulfillment and love we feel know is so much greater. I know this church is true and that God and our Savior Jesus Christ Lives and they guide our lives. For it has been testified to me through reading the Book Of Mormon and living the commandments. If you will open up your heart and invite them in, with true intent then your life will change for the good as well. I testify of this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

How I live my faith

My faith is center in my life of which has given me more happiness than I can explain. I attend church weekly and have been blessed to be able to teach the thirteen year olds by weekly, sharing the responsibility with another sister. I also have enjoyed visiting with three sister members of our church monthly as a visiting teacher of which has added wonderful friendships in my life and been very fulfilling.
