Hi I'm Bekah

I am 19 years old. I grew up in American Fork, UT. I grew up in the church. I am a Mormon and I am very proud to be one.

About Me

The three things that I love deeply, other then the church, are theater, soccer, and American Sign Language. I have been a stage had for many different places and have being doing this for about 5 years. Theater is very close to my heart and I love it very much. Then there is soccer. I have been playing since 4th grade and have never stopped. It is my favorite sport. I love watching individual players and seeing their amazing skills, but I also love watching all of the players work together to become one amazing team. They work as a unit. They are constantly there for each other and know where to be, what the right timing is, and so much more. I just love soccer. Last but not least is ASL. I grew up in a house where we used ASL, and then I took 4 years of it during school. To me its not just a language. It is beautiful to watch but also the meaning behind each sign is more then words can say. ASL means more to me because of things that have happened in my life where for some reason or another it was connected to them. I really love ASL. There is more to me, but those are three things that are very close to my heart. Over those three is my religion. I love this religion more then anything. I wouldn't be here or who I am today without it.

Why I am a Mormon

Because no matter what I know that I am not alone. That there is no way for the world to be as it is without a higher power. I am a Mormon because I know that I am loved, and looked after. I know that I have a purpose and that I am here for a reason. I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and all the blessings he has given me. I am a Mormon because I know that it is right and that everything they teach is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to always keep the commandments, and to always be the best me I can be. I strive to be honest, kind, caring, and helpful. I want to keep the spirit with me as much as I can so I do things that keep it with me. I wear modest clothing, I don't curse, and I try hard to love everyone. Faith is important to me and I do my best to strengthen it and keep it strong. I read my scriptures and go to church. I always try my best to do as the prophet has asked. Overall I do my best, and when I make a mistake I repent and then try again. I try to stay close to my Heavenly Father and do what he asks me to do.
