Hi I'm Janae

I'm from Parker, Colorado. I love reading, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids, I have one brother and three sisters. I love ballet and have danced since I was five! I love being around people and I'm quiet at first, but once I get to know people I love to talk! I also play the piano and sing a little bit, mostly with my sister. I love country music more than anything else! Long drives with good friends and the country station turned up are my favorite. I helped my mom teach preschool when I was in high school, and I attended Brigham Young University before my mission and I'm planning to study Early Childhood Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God lives and loves me. He knows me individually and will always be there to help me. I am a Mormon because I know that this church is His true church restored on the earth in these latter days and I am so grateful to be able to have that knowledge because it brings me peace and comfort in times of trial. I know that the Book of Mormon is a way for each of us to develop a stronger, more personal relationship with our savior Jesus Christ, and I know it's true. I know that He still stands at the head of His church today and guides and directs us all through a living prophet.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the Washington D.C. North mission so that others can see my light and recieve the peace and happiness that comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything I do and the person I am today is all because of the gospel and I'm so glad to say that it's such a big part of me.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Janae
Families are important because they are the people that we spend most of our lives with. They help us learn and grow and they strengthen us. Our families teach us what we need to know to function and flourish in society. The family is central to Heavenly Father's plan for us, and they can help us through trials and bring us happiness. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, families can be together for time and all eternity. Show more Show less
