Hi I'm Shea Jenkins

I am going to school to be a nurse. I'm preparing to serve a mission in Illinois. I love to read and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of four children and have amazing siblings. I'm very much a family person. I've just completed my first year of Nursing school and would love to be a stay-at-home mom and do Nursing on the side. I love to read and play the piano. I'm a night-owl. I love to socialize and get to know others' personalities. I am a lover of life!

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely have faith that this gospel is what brings happiness. I can't imagine where I would be without the knowledge it brings of eternal joy, forever families, forgiveness, and the Divine love our Savior and Heavenly Father has for each of us. I know that our Savior lives. He knows you. He knows me. He knows what horrible things we've done, yet still loves us unconditionally and died for us. He is the way and can help us become something we never imagined we could be if we just come to Him and accept His help. I have such a strong testimony that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that it is true. I know it was written for our day and that those things recorded anciently really did happen. Joseph Smith was divinely inspired and directed to bring forth that amazing book of scripture and translate it and thus begin the restoration of this gospel. I also know that God hears and answers prayers. If you have patience in His timing, and if you are sincere, you can also come to that knowledge. I promise that Christ's gospel and His church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) will bring you such happiness, peace, and comfort in your daily life. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I currently help with the young girls in our ward who are 12 and 13 years old. I teach them lessons on Sundays and coordinate events and activities for them to learn and grow from each week. I love those girls so much and love serving them! I have also had previous callings such as Choir Pianist, Ward Organist, etc. It is a great thing to serve God and His children through these callings and I love the growth it brings!
