Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Riverton, Utah. I am serving in the Mexico Tuxtla Gutiérrez mission. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to play with my dogs, I like hiking, camping, fishing, basically anything outdoors. I love to eat. I like watching sports with my family and going to baseball games with my dad and brother.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. I was born into the church and raised in it. All of my family are members. The thing I love so much about this gospel is that I can be with my family forever. That means more to me than anything else. When my grandfathers passed away my family relied heavily on the Plan of Salvation and the comfort we felt knowing that they are not gone, just temporarily away from us in mortality. I also love the fact that we are a church of volunteers. Nobody expects to be compensated from all the hard work we put in for our individual callings. I love that we are so service oriented and we are always looking for something we can do to make someone else's life a little easier. Last but not least, I love that we have the priesthood. This is definitely a huge blessing in my life knowing that we can be comforted, healed, and just about anything else by a worthy priesthood holder laying his hands on our head and giving us a blessing. I know this gospel is the only true one on Earth. I'm so grateful to be alive at a time where the fullness of the gospel is on the earth.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the Mexico Tuxtla Gutiérrez mission. I love attending the temple and listening to conference talks.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

As missionaries we fund mostly all of our missions. We save up, in some cases, our whole lives to be able to fund our missions. We often receive small donations from members of our ward, stake, and family members to help fund it. We are more than happy to do so. Show more Show less
