Hi I'm Parker

I'm an entrepreneur. I love adventures. I am a Mormon

About Me

I'm 18. I love the outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, and just exploring. I play the guitar and love music. I love cars, vintage and modern. I love reading. I'm serving a mission for two years in the Philippines Laoag mission. I like being with friends in a good environment just hanging out or playing games. I am an entrepreneur and love working hard to accomplish great things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. It's has been a part of me for my whole life. But it wasn't until I was 12 that I really discovered for myself my belief in the church. I struggled through a lot of difficult things in my teen years and the gospel helped me in so many ways. I have a testimony of the power this gospel has to change lives for the better. I'm grateful for my savior and for the atonement and bear testimony of the power of both of those things.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary for this church. I have helped with several callings and positions in my youth. I actively look for ways that I can magnify and increase my capacity to serve.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Parker
Pornography is a plague, it takes something sacred and destroys it. It twists the power of creation into something gross and dark. It harms and hurts relationships and families. It has affected my life in negative ways. I feel the biggest way to stop the spread and influence of pornography is to understand those who have been affected by it better. We need to love those who it has harmed, and not judge someone affected by it. We all make mistakes in our life, we all fail and sin. We are all beggars in need of Christ's atonement. If we would serve the people affected by pornography rather than shame them, they will feel of Christ's love for them and the healing power of the atonement will enable them to become free from pornography's grasp. As we show an increase of love to members and non-members alike who have suffered because of pornography we will find its grasp weakening and its influence lessening on us all. Show more Show less
