Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Beaver, Utah. I'm attending college in Salt Lake City with plans to become a Pharmacist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of 9 children. I spent my childhood reading as many books as I could, and I still enjoy reading about anything and everything today. I love being active so running, hiking, and playing games with my family are all activities i enjoy. I am in Salt Lake attending college right now, and will leave on my mission to the Adriatic North Mission in a little over a month! I am a Pharmacy Technician and plan to become a pharmacist.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel and my family are the most important things in my life. When i moved away for school it was the first time I really had to make decisions for myself. I decided if i wanted to go to church and continue living righteously as i had under my parents' roof. It was then that i realized everything about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is what made me happy. I enjoyed going to church and learning of Jesus Christ. I loved going to institute and finding a place where other people had the same beliefs I did. Family is such an important part of the gospel and I also realized just how important family was to me. And with the gospel I could be with them forever. Life is difficult and there is always another problem or trial on the horizon, but with the assurance of the gospel i knew that everything would be okay. That if I lived as righteously as i could and repented when i messed up, that Jesus Christ would advocate for me when I eventually die. God wants us to be happy and with the blessings and assurance of God in my life - well, I truly am happy.

How I live my faith

The act of actually living what we believe is one of the most important things we can do as Mormons. To not just talk about living like Christ on Sunday, but through out the week to love and serve your other fellow human beings. I won't lie, that can be hard. But every day i wake up and try my best to love people a little more, to be kinder to those suffering, and to serve those that are struggling. It's okay to not be perfect and to have bad days. But we repent and try harder the next day. It's is important for me to attend church every sunday and partake of the Sacrament. That helps me to start my week off right. Attending different meetings throughout the day where i can discuss questions or topics about the gospel with other Mormons is key to improving my faith. Studying the scriptures, Book of Mormon, and praying everyday is also essential to truly "living" the gospel. I am now serving an LDS mission in the Adriatic North Mission so that I can live and share my faith and happiness with others!
