Hi I'm Kenadi Schultz

I've grown up in Medford, Oregon. A missionary in Logan, Utah till March 2018. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Medford, Oregon. I have 2 older brothers who have both served faithful missions and who are amazing role models to me and one younger sister who believe it or not has also been a great person for me to look up to also, she is so confident and loving. I am a daughter to the most influential parents who are always supportive of me and my choices. I am 19 years old and just graduated from South Medford High school. I love to swim and play tennis, those are my 2 sports that I just love doing all the time! I also love to serve, that is one of my favorite things, I love helping others and bringing others and myself to feel joy. I have decided to serve an 18-month mission, and I have been called to Logan, Utah and leave August 24th, 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up as a Mormon, I have been so blessed. I am so thankful for my parents decisions to join the church when they were younger. They have brought me so much joy. the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has taught me so much and has shown me how this is the true church. Being Mormon is hard sometimes but in the long run it brings me so much happiness. I get asked frequently why am I so happy? And I can truly answer I am happy because I am Mormon, I know my Heavenly Father lives and cares about me, and I know Christ died for me and everyone on this earth so we can live with him again. We are put on this earth to have joy, 2nd Nephi 2:25 "Adam fell that men might be and men are, that they might have joy." I love this scripture because it just proves to me that Heavenly Father wants you and I to feel joy, and to feel that pure joy I strongly believe the church is the key to finding it. I know that Heavenly Father knows each and everyone of us personally and listens to our prayers. And I know Christ has felt all our pains and sufferings and knows everything we are going through, and that her is there for us. Christ and Heavenly Father are watching us, and just hoping that we see the truth and come unto Christ. "Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever" this is quoted from one of our amazing apostles, Jeffrey R. Holland. I am Mormon because it has brought me true happiness and joy!

How I live my faith

I have had multiple callings in my ward (which are like "jobs" or "duties"). I have been a leader over my age group of youth, and when I did that I learned so much more about myself and what I truly was capable of, and my testimony grew tremendously. I had to learn how to be the best role model so that I could help others grow their testimonies as well. My latest calling was being a teacher for kids around 9 and 10. Being their teacher meant I had to teach them about our church, and stories in the Book of Mormon. Giving this opportunity to teach also strengthen my testimony, these kids helped me learn so much more. Their are many other things I have done and do to live my faith, but one major thing is I love is service, with the church they provide many opportunities for us to serve. Through service I just feel so much love and joy, and with others working around me while we serve you can just feel the love! The church is an amazing place, it helps kids, adults, teenagers, and young adults like myself learn to be better teachers, role models, how to serve others, and how to be a better person all around.
