Hi I'm Sue

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I like to read, sew, and quilt. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived my whole life in the Pacific Northwest. I love the rain and all the green trees and lawn that it produces. I think this is a very beautiful place to live with so much color and variety in nature. I like the sun, but not the heat so much. My husband and I have raised seven well-educated children who are now wonderful adults. I've always wanted to be a once a week grandma, but mostly I'm a once a year grandma, since all our grandchildren live far away. I'm relatively new to family history, but I am really enjoying learning more about it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the chance it gives me to change and do better in my own life. I want to live the commandments and return to live with my Heavenly Father some day. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have that life continues after we die on earth and that I can be with my husband again. This is what motivates me to live true to the promises I have made as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

It's important to me to be an active participant in my church and community. My friend and I like to volunteer in the local elementary school library, and at a community organization that assembles layettes for babies in need. I like to sew quilts for others. I'm learning about my family history and preparing to serve a mission for my church.
