Hi I'm Jeffrey

I grew up in southern Utah. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of the peace and comfort it brings.

About Me

My name is Jeffrey. I am currently preparing to serve an LDS mission in the Philippines Urdaneta mission. I have grown up in the church so I feel blessed for that. Some of the things that I love to do is to be outside. I love to hike and climb and rappel into slot canyons and things of the sort. I also love water sports such as wakeboarding and water skiing. I always like to be doing something. Being board just isn't fun. So I fill my time with good wholesome activities like the ones listed above. One of my favorite things to do, however, is spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know what this gospel has brought into my life. It has brought things such as peace and comfort into my life in those times where I feel like I have nothing else. The gospel and more specifically Jesus Christ has been there with His hand stretched out towards me to help me along in this life and to help me do what is right. My answer is pretty simple in that this gospel makes me feel at home. It's a place where I feel needed, wanted, and loved. I can always turn to the Lord because His hand will always be there to pull me up in the hard times. I know that the Lord can and will help you if you ask for His help.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the things that our Heavenly Father would want me to do. As I have said before I am currently preparing to serve a mission. I have prepared by attending my weekly church meetings acting as president in the various quorums (organizations) in our church. I have also been able to home teach various families in my ward to help them have a friend that they can always turn to in times of need.
