Hi I'm Sage

I'm from Texas. I'm a BYU Nursing student. I served in the Adriatic South Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying to become a nurse. I am the fourth of six kids and am a total chocoholic. I absolutely love anything and everything Disney. I was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; I served in the Adriatic South Mission -- that's Albania, Macedonia, and Kosovo -- and I preached the Gospel in the Albanian language!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I was born to parents who were members. However, that is not the reason I am a Mormon today. I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself from my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church on the earth today. The Mormon religion is what gives me the deeply personal relationship I have with my Father in Heaven and with His Son. I have read The Book of Mormon and know that it, like the Bible, truly is the word of God. Knowing that my Savior lives and that He and our Father love me and are watching over me gives me so much peace. It is so comforting to know that they are always there for me. Exercising faith in Them seems to me to be a small price to pay for all that They have done for me.

How I live my faith

I served as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In the past, I have had positions of leadership in the Youth program. One of my favorite roles was as the "Mom" of our Family Home Evening group while I was a Freshman in college. I got to plan and organize events and activities that would allow our group or "family" to interact/bond with one another and help us strengthen our testimonies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
