Hi I'm Reinaldo

I am from Utah. I am a convert to the church. I play basketball. I want to study Business. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am from Utah. I live with my mom and my older sister. I am the only member of the church in my family. I love to play all sorts of sports, being outside, reading, and hanging out with friends. I recently graduated high school and began attending college. I finished my first year of college and I made the decision to go on an LDS Mission. I will serve in the California Anaheim Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet called to restore this gospel back to the earth. I know that this is what my Heavenly Father wants for me and I know that He has laid out a path for all of us to live with Him again, be with our families for eternity, and to gain eternal life if we do the things that are asked of us and we are obedient to His commandants and His teachings. I believe in the power of prayer and the ability that it gives us to talk directly to our Heavenly Father. I was able to be taught by sister missionaries when I was just 11 years-old and from that moment I felt the spirit so strongly that I knew, even at that young age, that the things that I was being taught were true and it was what I was meant to do. Although my family did not follow, I was happy to be the example to them and get baptized and attend church meetings and activities by myself. I have been blessed by the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and I attend a lot of activities planned for us during the week. Things like service projects, youth firesides, and young men's activities. When I was in high school I took seminary to learn about the gospel during the week and once graduated I continued to attend church classes. I have had the opportunity to help plan, with the help of other leaders, activities for young mens, scouts, and for the youth in my stake. I participate in daily scripture study and pray.
