Hi I'm Savannah

I've grown up in Utah my whole life, I love sports, hunting, and fishing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything that involves being outside like sports, hunting, camping, boating etc. I love my family and I enjoy doing those activities with them. I have attended one year of college and I really like learning about psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 14 I almost lost my family in a car accident. I got the call and was told that I needed to come to the hospital. My older brother and I headed to the hospital and found chaos with doctors and nurses making sure that my family was okay. I was one of the lucky ones, we didn't lose anyone. I remember walking into my dads room. I started expressing my feelings of bitterness and frustrations towards God. My dad stayed quiet and just listened. Tears filled his eyes as he began to tell me in all the ways that we had been blessed. He began to tell me that if the truck had hit them one millimeter to the right then the outcome would have been different. I felt like someone had slapped me. My heart changed that day. I understand now that God is in charge. God is good. God lets bad things happen to good people because bad things make good people better. I choose to look at the tender mercies that God blesses me with everyday instead of thinking how I think things should have turned out. I choose to think positively about the future because I believe that God will make everything turn out the way that it is supposed to. I understand that I don't have to worry about injustices because he will take care of them. I believe that God loves me, and that he loves all of his children and that he is aware of us. There were too many times when I could feel his arms wrap around me and felt a powerful feeling that he was there for me. Too many times to ever deny that. I know that Christ suffered an died for my sins and everyones so that we can go back and live with our Father in Heaven again. I know that if you need to talk to him, you can get on your knees and he'll listen and help you. I know that the scriptures are of God, and that Joseph Smith brought the restored gospel to this dispensation. I know that living the gospel brings greater joy and blessings than we can comprehend, and I will be indebted to my savior forever for making it possible to go home someday.

How I live my faith

I attend church every single Sunday, and I love it. I participate with a lot of the music and it is very calming to me. When I go to church on Sundays it feels like I'm a battery that is getting recharged, and it gives me the hope and motivation to start a new week.
