Hi I'm Dylan

I grew up in the United States. I'm a Valedictorian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born here in Oregon and have lived here all of my life. I was heavily involved in extra-curricular activities during high school such as football, track and field, basketball, FFA, and Student Council. I graduated this last June and have been called to serve a mission for the Church in the Florida Jacksonville Mission. Afterwards, I plan on attending Brigham Young University and studying political science.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and so I grew up going to church every Sunday and reading scriptures with my family. There came a time in my life where I had to discover my own testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his Church. This came through much prayer, study, and meditation. I've never had a particularly miraculous experience, but I have had many instances of soft, quiet feelings, thoughts, and impressions. These small and simple things have added up to big things in my life. That is that I know that God is our Father and he loves us, that Jesus Christ is his Son and our Savior and Redeemer and atoned for the sins of the world. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he restored the true Church of Christ here on the earth. I know that the Prophet Joseph translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God and that is contains the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that we have a prophet here on the earth today and that he receives revelation for our benefit. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's Church here on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I constantly strive to do the little things that bless my life in so many ways. It is my belief that those little things add up to big things and can change lives. I constantly strive to attend my church meetings, study the scriptures, and to serve others, specifically through my callings at church. I have been given the opportunity to serve as the 1st Assistant in the Priest's Quorum, so I have the blessing to work under the direction of the Bishop with 16, 17, and 18-year-olds in my ward.
