Hi I'm Josh Waters

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a golfer and a former baseball player. Played high school golf but not baseball due to an injury. I have been called to serve in the Washington, Tacoma Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy that His church has brought to me. The last couple years for me have been rough. I've been betrayed by people I called friends, bullied by teammates, and have been taken advantage of. I have never felt more depressed in my life. I have come to realize just how powerful the Atonement of Jesus Christ can be. The Atonement isn't just for healing sins, it is there to help heal us from the pains of mortality. I have come to realize that God does know me, that he sent his Only Begotten Son to suffer, bleed, and die so that He could have empathy for me and my sufferings; so that He could help me overcome my sorrows and realize that all of the pains and tribulations I have been put through will allow me to empathize with others. I know that God lives and that he is always there for me. I know he answers prayers and I know that he loves all of his children. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I am an adviser to youth between the ages of 16-18. I continually do service for members in my ward and enjoy doing so.
