Hi I'm Devin Rottweiler

I live and love to play basketball and volleyball, will be serving a mission for the church in Peru. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have spent most of my life so far focused on academics and athletics. I finished high school with a 4.0 GPA and played varsity basketball and volleyball. I received a lot of recognition and awards in both of those sports. I have been called to serve a mission and have been assigned to labor in the Peru Trujillo South Mission. It was tough for me to turn down a lot of athletic scholarship offers but I know that as I put the Lord first he will bless me with great joy and happiness while I am serving him in Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

My answer to why I am a Mormon is a very simple on that does not need much to explain. I'm a Mormon because it is the only thing in the world that brings me true happiness.

How I live my faith

I'm in the Sierra Vista 4th ward and I absolutely love it there. We are a family for sure. I recently became an elder and was very sad to move away from the best young men's group in the entire church. Those guys literally became my brothers over the 2 years that I was with them. It was great to see all of us as such different people with such different interests come together with one common knowledge and that is that Jesus Christ is our savior and we all need him to be saved. Through that knowledge we all became closer as friends and brothers.
