Hi I'm Mikayla Gordon

I am studying to be a dental hygienist. I play the violin and piano. I believe in hard work and happy endings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played the piano and violin since I was young. I taught both instruments by the time I was a freshmen in high school.. and loved every minute of teaching! I currently work as a dental assistant and am studying to be a dental hygienist. I love my career and, oddly enough, love teeth! I am the oldest of five children and love my family more than words can say. I grew up in a small town and loved it! I enjoy hot chocolate, autumn, and sweaters more than the average girl. My favorite movie is Princess and the Frog.. with Pride and Prejudice coming in with a close second! I believe in shooting for the stars and I believe in hard work. I believe in happy endings and fairy tales. I have been called to serve a mission in Texas Houston Easton mission in the Spanish language. I leave to study at the Mexico Missionary Training center in just a few days. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with all of my heart!

Why I am a Mormon

Though I grew up in a Mormon family, it was my choice to be baptized a Mormon and to forever remain a Mormon. I chose to be a Mormon because I felt something miraculous in my heart as I read the Book of Mormon. I also feel something miraculous each time I attend church, attend the temple, or talk about the gospel. It truly is an amazing feeling.. and a feeling that has changed my life forever. I'm so grateful for the gospel! 3

How I live my faith

I live my faith by never giving up. I make plenty of mistakes - just like everyone else. But, I choose to live my faith by repenting and trying again. I put my heart and soul into every thing that I am asked to do in the church. Those things include teaching lessons, putting together a week-long camp for the youth, visiting women and providing comfort, organize events, lead, public speak, and much more!
