Hi I'm Austin

I was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. I love any type of competitive sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in a very competitive family. I have participated and played many various sports, such as, baseball, football, basketball, and my new favorite tennis. I have had the opportunity to travel many places to compete in these sports. I am always willing to try new things and have fun doing so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members of this wonderful church, but we were not a very active family. We would probably attend church once every three months. I was perfectly okay with that because I felt happy and content in my life as kid. When I was 15 years old I had the opportunity to take an LDS church class everyday at my high school. I went into that class knowing the basics of this church but that was about it. That class soon became the highlight of everyday. There was something about it that I couldn't explain. It was my escape from the stresses of the world. As the year went by I began to pray almost every night and I just had a conversation with Heavenly Father. Little did I know that every time I knelt to pray my relationship with God strengthened. I soon began to be able to feel the Spirit of God and I could feel the happiness that came with it. I've lived part of my life not knowing how much God loves me and loves all of his children. Being able to now recognize and feel his love has filled a gap in my life that I never knew existed. I know that God loves us more than we could ever imagine and I feel so blessed to be apart of His church.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a 2 year mission in Pennsylvania. I just love sharing the gospel with anyone and everyone. On my mission one thing that I have loved to do is to provide service to the people around me. I love participating in service projects around the community to help those who surround me. Giving service brings me closer to my Father in Heaven by doing as Jesus Christ would do.
