Hi I'm Jenna Boyd

I was born and raised in Texas. I love hiking, being outside in nature, and all things music. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University, and I am studying recreational management. I hope to have a career in physical therapy for kids. I love all things music: singing, playing the piano, guitar, you name it. I'm happiest when I'm outside hiking, camping, or taking naps in the sun enjoying God's creations.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because this gospel allows me to have eternal and long lasting joy. This gospel is the everlasting, and complete Gospel. Living by it's teachings brings me closer to Christ, and ultimately happier. From a young age my family and church leaders taught me to follow Christ's example, and turn to Him whenever I needed help. Knowing that I could always turn to Christ, and apply the Atonement to my life during times of difficulty has given me so much peace and strength. I know that because of Jesus Christ I can live with my family for eternity, and that life doesn't end with death. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have studied it out in my mind and heart, and have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me of it's truthfulness. I am a Mormon because this gospel gives me hope, purpose, peace, and joy.

How I live my faith

I love going to church, because each week as I partake of the sacrament I know I can be renewed, and forgiven of my sins. Going to church lifts my spirits, enlightens my mind, and strengthens me for the next week. Growing up, I knew how important it was to stay true to my standards and morals because there were few Mormons at my school. I wanted to be an example, and let others feel the love of Christ when they're around me. I try my best to choose the right, and serve the people around me. I can't wait to serve as a full time missionary and teach the people of Belgium and the Netherlands about the everlasting gospel.
