Hi I'm Mikaila

I grew up in Show Low, Arizona (where it snows!). I love to sing. I am a Mormon!!

About Me

I recently just got back from my second semester at BYU-Idaho and I absolutely loved it! It was hard to come home honestly! I was studying Vocal Performance--I love to sing! I am a huge Disney fan. Nothing can make me tear up as well as good ol' "Lady and the Tramp" can. When I have free time you can usually find me curled up reading Pride and Prejudice or another regency romance novel. Or day dreaming. I'll do that too. But I am not always just a lazy bum! I always love a good run!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon keeps me from going insane. Ha! I believe that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and He does for you too! My goal is to return to Him one day. I think that if I didn't have this knowledge my life would be more like a checklist and have less of a purpose. It would be like doing homework. I don't know about you but sometimes I end up doing my homework only because it needs to get done instead of really trying to learn and see the good in it. If I didn't know that Heavenly Father has really great things in store for me, then I think getting out of bed every morning would be more painful. My days would seem very dark, dreary, and pointless. This church influences my every move. Knowing that Heavenly Father has a plan for me helps me see the bigger picture! It gives me something to work for and look forward to. I am a lot happier because of this church!

How I live my faith

In a little over a week I will be leaving on a mission for my church to serve the Lord and others for 18 months! I want to bring as many people as I can to Christ. I think that the best way to live my faith is to spread Christ's love and to make others happy by being kind. That's my life goal! Just like Cinderella says "we must simply have courage and be kind, mustn't we?"
