Hi I'm Terra

I'm a Mormon. I love reading and learing. I love my family. I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy knitting, reading, and hiking. I love going fishing and camping with my family. I'm currently attending college. I was a part of the National FFA organization. I've been in choirs and bands. I sing alto and play the clarinet. I come from a large family. I have two grandfathers on this earth and two grandmothers in heaven. My grandmother passed away from liver cancer after surviving a fight with breast cancer. She loved working as a teacher, and I am learning how to become a teacher like her. I have worked as an aide in elementary education, and in scouting programs.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my family. Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ I am able to be with my family for eternity. I am also able to be strengthened with them in times of trial and find joy and comfort with them. The family is a central part of the gospel, and being a part of it has brought my family so many blessings. I am a Mormon because of this beautiful Earth. As I look around me, I see the beauty of the world. I marvel at how there is a reason for everything, and that it all works together. The Spirit tells me in my heart that it is true that Heavenly Father created us and this Earth. He knows each and every one of us. He knows each member of my family, and he knows each person who lives, has lived, and will live on this Earth. I am a Mormon because Jesus Christ's Atonement is real and wonderful. He came to live on the Earth to be tempted and suffer, so he could over come the temptation of sin. He did this for us so he could know how to succor us in our times of trial. He is the son of God and died on this Earth, so that through his resurection we could also be resurected.

How I live my faith

As a youth I served in the youth programs. I would help organize activities on Tuesday, and I would serve the families in my ward. I continue to help serve those families in the church's women's organization. I have also worked with youth in scouting programs. I also help manage the ward garden. I visit with families in the ward, and strive to be a friend to those around me.
