Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Utah. I played sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I love to hike, fish, and hunt. I love sports. I wrestled in high school and played lacrosse. I also play pickleball. I play the piano, guitar, and violin. I'm trying to learn Spanish. I love to cook food, almost as much as I love to eat it. My favorite food is hot wings and hamburgers.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are Mormon, so I was pretty much born into this church. However, as I got older, I started realizing that being a part of this church meant I would have to sacrifice a lot of things. I decided I needed to find out for myself if this gospel was true, and so I did. I read the Book of Mormon, and then I knelt down and prayed about it. I'll never forget that night when I finished the Book of Mormon. I prayed to know if it was true, if God was really there, and if he had a plan for me. I felt a comforting peace like i had never felt before, and I knew it was true. The Book of Mormon has been a great source of strength in my life, and has helped me overcome many challenges I have faced.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to my friends and peers. I try my best to keep the commandments and standards that I have been taught, although I am not perfect. I try to take opportunities to talk about my beliefs as much as possible. I pray and read my scriptures daily, and everyday i learn new things about the gospel.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

As you pray to know your Heavenly Father, he will bless you. He blesses all his children differently according to their specific needs. Bring your personal struggles and trials to the Lord, and ask him for guidance and strength in facing your challenges. He will bless you as long as you pray with real intent, willing to obey whatever he asks of you. Show more Show less
