Hi I'm Jeff

I love to run, play sports, and spend time with family. I know Jesus Christ lives. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I served in California as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew up in a small city in Utah, I am the youngest out of five children in our family, I ran track and cross country up until the time I was in the 8th grade and am working back into getting into shape! I love to play sports, spend time with family and friends, and really anything active. I am going to be attending college pretty soon to hopefully be a teacher. I am a big believer in God and in his son, Jesus Christ I know that they live and I wouldn't be where I am at today without them! I also love to sing and bring joy and laughter into the lives of those around me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church also known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be the only church that has the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the authority from God to act in his name for the Salvation of his children. Yes my parents were Mormon but I truly did learn for myself that this church truly was Christ's church and not some other christian religion. I really came to know that through reading the Book of Mormon everyday and acting on the things that I learned from church and from my family, and that I came to know by me doing whatever I was taught that I grew closer to Christ and knew him as my Savior. I really came to know the Savior is when I started seminary schooling, I was always a shy kid and was fearful of the opinion of others against me even my seminary class I remained silent even though I loved the teachings there but kept myself silent. The teacher challenged me to read 10 minutes of day out of scripture that we were reading which was the Doctrine and Covenants and I read scripture that I shouldn't care what men thinks of me and what God thinks of me, for what can men do to us! The spirit hit me powerfully that is what I needed to do is to not care what men thinks of me, God cares about me so much and loves me for who I am, I should never be frightened to show others that! That changed my life and made me want to live the gospel forever. I still do and will always do it because God has confirmed me again and again that this church is true and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, that we have a living prophet of God who truly is the messenger of God in these days to help us be happy here in this life and to live with him again. My heart rejoices in this and I am encircled forever in the loving arms of the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ! As I have trusted him, good as always comes to me and always will. I know that he has a plan for us and those who we love we will see again because of him!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the way I treat others and the way that I treat myself. I strive to do my very best to do the things that Jesus Christ would have me do, and do the things that he would do if he were there today. I do not pass by those that need help because my life is to busy, I visit those who are sick and afflicted and lonely. I reach out to those that are ignored and lost and I welcome them. I live my faith through daily prayer, scripture study, and gospel study in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon. I have come to know that both of them are the word of God. I strive to participate in the local church that I go to and find ways where I can serve in the community and for the church. I live my faith by keeping God's commandments, for doing what is right because it is the right and I live my faith by sharing what I believe so that others can have the same joy that I have. I do this all because I love the Savior Jesus Christ and because I have been changed by him!
