Hi I'm Kylie

I grew up in Boston. I love art and traveling. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Boston where I played sports and participated in Best Buddies. I completed my freshman year at Brigham Young University as an open major and went on a six week study abroad for Art and Design in Italy and Austria. I love art, Boston, being outside, and spending time with friends and with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My mother comes from a long line of church members and my father joined the church when he was seventeen after being taught by missionaries. As I got older I wanted to know for myself if the church was true so I prayed and felt a confirmation through the spirit that it was. Since then I've had many experiences within the church that have reconfirmed the truth of the gospel to me, either during a church service, personal prayer, or even a service project. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought such joy to my family and to me. Having a knowledge of a loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that still speak to their people today through personal revelation and through prophets brings me such peace and joy. The church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints is the true church and is the greatest blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

At school, I was activities coordinator for the women's group of our congregation. I planned holiday parties, game nights, and service for the women of our congregation. I also visited members of our women's group monthly to serve and talk with them. Right now I am serving as a Sunday school teacher for a group of children in my home congregation. In a few weeks I will begin serving as a full time missionary for the church for 18 months, teaching others about our beliefs.
