Hi I'm Braden

I grew up in Oregon. I love listening to music and hanging out with friends, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Braden! I enjoy reading, listening to music and playing games. I really enjoy hiking and bike riding, especially with the kind of scenery that's found here in Oregon. My favorite author is Stephen King and my favorite band is The Killers. I enjoy going to school because I love learning new things and will be attending BYU Hawaii soon to further my education. But the most valuable thing that I have learned in my lifetime is that my Heavenly Father loves me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but like everyone in this church there were crucial moments in my life that made me choose to be converted or leave. I am a member because I had great leaders and role models growing up. Most of all, I am a Mormon because the Church doctrine is the most true thing I have ever experienced. I have felt and know that the Book of Mormon is true. I also know that God loves his children and that we can receive personal revelation for ourselves on what to do whenever we are stuck or just wondering why. I am a Mormon because since the day I joined the Church, I have never felt alone and I know that no one ever is. Anyone can receive the help they need from God if they just ask him, and this Church has helped me realize this.

How I live my faith

My faith is expressed a lot through community service. I really care about people and I show my love through service and friendships. Mostly, I am just a friend whenever someone needs one who will offer all kinds of true, encouraging advice. I go to church almost every Sunday and love hanging out with my friends and family. Currently, I am serving a full time mission in the Berlin Germany Mission. It has been a blast so far and I love being able to share what I have learned and experienced with others.
