Hi I'm Trent

I'm the oldest in my family and oldest grandson, I'm a high school graduate, I'm a die hard football player, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the 90's, so you could say I'm old. I was born and raised in the state of Utah. I've always had a love for athletics: football and basketball mainly. I love to be physically active, even though I am getting to the point where I can't function as well. I love to be where nature is. i love to ride/drive any vehicle. My favorite vehicles to drive are cars or motorbikes. Winter is my all time favorite season, because I can play in the snow with snowmobiles and snowboards. I've been driving snowmobiles sience I was a little kid. I graduated from clearfield high school this year (2016) I've bleed green ever since my dad graduated. I've always wanted to be like him in high school, because he won a championship for CHS in 1992. When I became a sophomore I was determined to get a ring just like him, only I didnt. We went completely defeated my senior year, but that's ok. It was a life experience that I will look back at. I have the best of friends. I have 4 main friends: Logan Scott, Ryan Skidmore, Jace Haney, and Josh Peterson. I've known and been friends with Logan the longest. I met him in 1st grade. We are more like brothers then like friends. He will be serving a mission in Spokane Washington on July 13th. I have been a member of the church of Jesus christ ever since I was born. As each year passes, my faith in the lord increases. I will be serving a mission in Gilbert Arizona on August 3rd. I know that the lord gave me the assignment because someone needs my help.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, I had no say in becoming a Morman. I was born into the church. However, the lessons I've learned from being a Mormon have increased greatly. I could make a whole list of reasons why being a Mormon. One thing that helped me throughout my life as a Morman was joining the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). This program taught me how to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, curtious, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent (BSA law). Another thing is agency. I know that sounds cheesy, but being a Mormon taught me how to make smart and important decisions. I've made decisions like keeping the word of wisdom (not using drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc.) I've made decisions to keep the law of chastity. This has been a big temptation in my life, mainly cause I'm a boy, but also because the devil has a way to lead me down to distraction. Even if I wasn't a Mormon, I bet I would be triggered by the devil with this way of wickedness. This commandment that the lord has set on this earth has effected me greatly. It's hard to stay away from the world, because we live in the last days and it's extremely wicked. Because I am a Mormon, I have learn the ways to stay away from wicked things even though I slip up.

How I live my faith

The way i live my life through faith is through the kindness i bring to people. service is one big source of kindness that i show people that i am a mormon. it's not always physical labor that stands out with service...i do service in all shapes and sizes. temple work is my favorite type of service, especially when it comes to doing family work. there is something about doing service for the dead that brings me joy. I've learned so much from the power of family history. My father and i have gone back to the time of jesus christ to our current day on his side of the family. the thing that brings me excitement when i find a green temple showing that i could do this name and do the baptisms and conformations, now endownments. i am very excited to see those people on the other side. the look on their faces will bring tears to my eyes. my second favorite source of service is the physical labor, where it takes time and effort to get a job done. i love to do physical labor, doesn't matter what the job is. It could be any job, no matter how hard the task, i love to see it complete. the sorrow that people have in their eyes, knowing that they can't do a big task, brings tears to my eyes. the love i have for people gives me that strength to do good in the world.
