Hi I'm Ally

I'm from Maryland. I play the cello. I'm serving a mission in New York City. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I lived my whole life in Maryland, where I garnered an intense love of history, learning, and music. I have been involved in music since age three, but picked up my cello at eight and never put it down. I have loved getting to travel all kinds of amazing places and learn about different cultures and historical sites. I also adore schooling, and have a hope of being an eternal student.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel makes me happier than anything else, and because I believe the fullness of the gospel lies in this church. I've visited many churches, seen many a service, known others of many faiths and walks of life, and yet through personal inspiration I have come to see how my life has changed through the gospel and how the lives of others can change through catalyst of this gospel. I have become more Christ-like, more loving, more happy, more musical, and I know these changes don't just apply to me. Everyone can experience the joy that comes through Christ. Simply put, I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

I always love getting to direct music in church and play in musical numbers! The church is such a wonderful way to implement one's talents into building God's kingdom. Getting to visit with other members of the church and go to Sunday School and learn more about the gospel are some ways I increase my spiritual knowledge and learn about the situations others' have and how to help them. Also, as a missionary in New York City, I can devote all my time to helping others become as happy as I am through the church!
