Hi I'm Kevin Sasser

I live in Arizona. I am married with 8 children. I am a chiropractor. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am married and have 8 children. I have four children still at home; a son on a mission in Argentina; a daughter who is married; a son who is a recent graduate from college; and a daughter graduating from college this year from Brigham Young University. For work I do neuromonitoring for surgeries that put the nervous system in jeopardy such as neck, back, and brain surgeries. I am also a chiropractor. My hobbies and interests include exercise, hiking, traveling, learning history, politics, and theology. I like gardening and growing fruit trees. I like most kinds of music and recently have been enjoying blue grass gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of the Mormon church when I was 16 years old. I was looking for a church where members believed in Christ and because of this belief tried to live good and decent lives. I was looking for a church that followed principles taught in the bible. Although I went to other christian churches when I was growing up I immediately felt something different when I went to the Mormon church. After a period of investigation I was baptized into the Mormon church and have been an active member for 40 years. I felt enlightened in my mind and I felt peaceful and fulfilled in my heart as I studied the book of Mormon and prayed about its truthfulness as well as the Mormon church. I have enjoyed the opportunities the church has provided me in allowing me to be a full time missionary in Uruguay, South America, and allowing me to serve in my local church for my entire life in various capacities. I have enjoyed learning to serve in little ways as a family member, at work, and in my community. I have found great fulfillment and peace in worshiping God through scripture study, prayer, attending my local church as well as the temple in my community, and serving my fellow man.

How I live my faith

I try to live a good life in my work activities and to be a good neighbor. My involvement with church includes visiting few families a month to make sure they are doing okay physically and spiritually. I also teach a class on basic gospel ideas every Sunday.
