Hi I'm Jacob

I grew up in Utah. I play basketball, football and XBOX. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from High School, turned 18 and I am excited to be able to serve a mission. I love art, football and basketball. I also love XBOX.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior and that the Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints contains the teachings of Christ. I am so grateful for the Savior and the Atonement. I am grateful for the knowledge that I can repent of my sins and mistakes and then be clean and worthy to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus again. I am also grateful for the temple and the knowledge that as families we can be "sealed" together and be together as a family for eternity. I look forward to some day being married (sealed) in the temple and starting my own eternal family. I was fortunate to be raised in the church so that I was taught the Gospel from my earliest years. I was also able to take Seminary Classes in school where I learned more about the Gospel, accepted the challenge to study the Gospel, so that I could establish my own testimony of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am a hometeacher (I go with my dad to visit and share a gospel message with some of our fellow church members.) and I have had several leadership opportunities with the youth of our church. I have several nephews, a niece and a niece on the way. We attend church meetings together as a family on Sunday and I went to activities during the week for the youth. I am serving a mission in the California, Modesto mission.
