Hi I'm Kyson J Stoker

I am a child of God, I love adventure, I love sports, I love joy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to consider myself as myself. There are definitely things about me that are very unique and I love to be that way. I have recently graduated High School, and I've been called to serve in the New York, New York North, Spanish speaking, Mission! I am the seventh child out of seven and I love every one of my family members. I get to be a lucky uncle of some awesome little kids who I play with all the time. My brother and I will just make up random games, and then play them for hours and it is quite the adventure. I love to do random things, and live life with those around me. I love music! I've played piano since 3rd grade, drums since 7th, and I am continually learning the guitar. I played drums in jazz and percussion in normal bands all throughout school. Soccer is huge in my life, and I've played my whole life. I also love random things like throwing frisbees, it just makes me so happy that you throw it, and then I flies! Spikeball, I love spikeball, it's the next great American sport that my friends and I play all the time. People are the best. I love being able to be with people and know all the little things that make people unique. We are all made for a reason, and I love to see those special gifts that God has given everyone. Every moment of life is just so precious and I love to learn how to enjoy every one.

Why I am a Mormon

Just like faith, choosing to be a Mormon is something I do everyday. I was blessed to grow up with two parents who are members of the church and taught me about the gospel as I've grown up. However, the decision to be a member was never up to them. I chose to be baptized when i was eight years old, and everyday that, as I strive to live and love the way Christ does, I make that decision over and over again. I choose to be a Mormon because I have a testimony that the fullness of Christ's Gospel is restored and organized through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm not perfect, and I sure make mistakes all along my life path, but through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I know that I can learn and improve every time I fall down. He lifts me up, and through Him, I can find and share joy. I love to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by remember Christ every day and in every action I do. Nothing makes me more happy then joy, and through Christ's Atonement I know that I can obtain eternal joy. I love to be a youth leader in the church, and help organize events to bring my fellow youth together. It makes me so happy to be able to see the Light of Christ in my friends, especially when we're all learning about how to share it together. Faith isn't lived on Sundays to me, it's an everyday action that requires effort. I love to be able to learn from the scriptures and The Book of Mormon everyday, and live the things I find bring joy. I love to know that I can talk to my Heavenly Father through prayer, and that He always cares about what's going on in my life. God loves every one of us, and through His plan we can find that true joy that I get so thrilled about.
