Hi I'm Brycen

I love to listen to music and play guitar. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of three boys. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music. I play the guitar, ukulele, and French horn. I live about three hours from the Outer Banks in NC and about three hours from the Appalachian Mountains, so I really enjoy trips to the beach as well as hiking and camping. I attended a year at BYU studying Physiology and Developmental Biology. I am taking time off from college to serve a mission in Papeete, Tahiti.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormon and so I have been going to church since I was born. I continue to go to the LDS church because I love the peace and love I feel when I am there. The teachings of our church offers so much joy in my life. I seek spiritual guidance when I make important decisions in my life and even though it may not always be the choice I wanted to make, it is always the choice I needed to make. I look forward to every day with hope. I look at everything in this world with awe and gratitude for what our Heavenly Father has blessed us with. I am thankful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the blessings it gives us. This is why I am a Mormon and why I am excited to be a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to be a light to others. I try to make sure that I do my very best in my job and in my school work and that I am honest in my dealings with others. At church I am often substituting as a teacher for one of the youth classes every Sunday at church. I will be serving as a missionary for two years in French Polynesia and will be working hard to help others feel the love and compassion that I have been blessed with because of my faith.
