Hi I'm Andrew Stocker

I am Mormon I know God gives us a way to return to Him though obedience, priesthood and more. You just need to believe it.

About Me

A good man realizes that his world is full of people different than him and he accepts them all. The ones who anger him, he moves beyond and lets them do their thing. He gives respect to all who earn it and helps those who asks. He accepts his responsibilities and makes the most of the life he has been given. An honest man sticks by his word. If he says he is going to do something, it gets done. A handshake and a knowing nod is enough to seal a deal and no more should be needed.

Why I am a Mormon

Mosiah 4:9 Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend. That's why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

As I read the Book of Mormon, I learn about the gospel and God’s Plan of Happiness. A knowledge of these things puts our questions in an eternal perspective. From the scripture that says this life is "a time to prepare to meet God," for example, we learn that we will continue to exist after we die, and that by keeping the commandments we can return to heaven "Alma 12:24". We also learn that repentance, forgiveness and the covenant to serve others are essential to our eternal salvation. Any of these questions of the soul can be answered by applying the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Andrew Stocker
I think most importantly, Mormons teach that families can be together forever. The family is the basic unit of the church. Everything we do focuses on strengthening our families so that we may all be together in happiness forever. We believe that children are holy; gifts sent from God. We believe that marriage is a blessed union, and that through ceremonies in our temples, those marriages and families can be together forever. Because families are the fundimental building block of the church, we rely on our families for many things. We teach and learn about Jesus Christ with each other. We support each other. We encourage each other to live morally. And we first experience love within our families, and love is the founding principle of the teachings of Christ. Show more Show less
