Hi I'm Nathan

I play the violin and viola. I play rugby. I swim competitively. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have enjoyed playing the violin and the viola in multiple settings, especially in a string quartet. I have played rugby for several years and have loved every moment of it. I have also swum competitively, specializing in the butterfly stroke. I am currently a serving, full-time missionary in the Daejeon Korea mission, I'm trying to learn Korean, and I am trying to serve the best mission I can!

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I have found for myself that this Church and the Book of Mormon are true, and that not only does God exist and live, but he also loves us, and taught us the things we need to do to know what comes after we pass away, and to not fear! To me, the fact that there really IS something after this life is so important to me-- so much so to where I can't imagine anything being any more important, and I am grateful to know that I can be a part of this Church.

How I live my faith

One thing I have learned is that this life is really hard-- but God has told us everything we need to get through it! Christ has asked us to do a lot of things, but it really just comes down to caring for one another, and that is what I try to do. God is the Heavenly Father of all people, and I can hold to that to not simply have a strong sense of individual identity, but also remember how special the people around me are. I try to do the things we've been asked to do, and right now as a missionary, I am teaching people about why we would WANT to follow the things we've been asked to do.
