Hi I'm Pamela

I grew up in Provo Utah. I'm a mother, a grandmother, a widow and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Life has not been easy for me. There have had many trials in my life. I am a mother to 5 children. I went back to school after having my children and how thankful I went back. Shortly after I graduated from school my husband had a traumatic head injury and could not work. I taught Special Need Children in the public school for 27 years. We have lost two Sons, one to the war on drugs and one to the War on Terror (Operation Iraqi Freedom) in Iraq. I love to make things like baby blankets, crocheting doilies to give away. I also enjoy reading, scrap-booking, bike riding, camping and being with my Family and Grand Children.

Why I am a Mormon

I had a wonderful example from my parents who taught me the ways of the Lord. They helped me when my testimony was growing. And now I have a very strong testimony of my own. In the scriptures we are to "be still and know". I know that there is a Heaven and that my Parents, my Husband and my two Sons are waiting until it is my time to join them in Heaven. With out this knowledge I would not be able to go on. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is just a beautiful way of life.

How I live my faith

I love to share my testimony of Jesus Christ as often as I can. I also enjoy going to the Temple where I feel very close to my Heavenly Father. I attend Church meetings on Sunday. I have held may Church callings, teaching women homemaking skills and Gospel Principles, teaching children about our Heavenly Father, teaching in the Cub Scout Program for 12 years straight! (It payed off in my family because we had 4 boys and all 4 are Eagle Scouts!) I enjoy serving others. I volunteering one day a week in our local hospital. I watch and pray for opportunities to serve others. I try to follow the example set by our Savior Jesus Christ.
