Hi I'm Mitchell

I am a high school college graduate. I love partner dancing, sports, fishing and hiking. I love this gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love basketball, volleyball and many other sports. I am a big fan of modern jive and ball room dancing. I like sword fighting and archery and I have read way too many fantasy novels with which I can't keep my head out of. I esteem to be a university graduate and love hiking intense trails which usually includes climbing up rock faces and such, although I am not the biggest fan of heights. I love to surprise people with random acts of kindness and service and I am a fair hand at massage and reflexology which holds my interest. I love my church and hold it close to my heart for the happiness it brings me, the principles it has taught me and the man it has shaped me into. I love this gospel. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel but that is not the reason I am a Mormon. I learned to love this gospel for the correct principles it teaches, standards it provides and it values it teaches. This gospel doesn't try to restrain you, but protect and perfect. So many times I have seen school friends laugh at me because I don't drink, date till I was more mature, or fling around and had to pay tithes and go to church. But when it bubbled down it wasn't me nursing a hangover and trying to remember a night I can't remember, it wasn't me who was crying on a friends shoulder due to a break up or having their feelings broken. I always had more than my friends despite my tithes and was always more rested when I started school on the Monday. After time my school mates looked up to me and came for advice and sympathy, they could tell I was different, I was constantly happy, bright, polite and considerate and wanted to know how and why. I had many lady friends just want to stay around me because I looked them in the eye and didn't perv, because I listened and spoke with clean respectable language, and because I treated them like the ladies they are and daughters of God. I would have and be nothing without this church and gospel. I have listened to its doctrines and heard the voice of the Lord as he talks and teaches me. I have felt the spirit touch my soul and made manifest to me the truths in the Book of Mormon and words of the living prophets. Their is nothing I would rather be then a Mormon

How I live my faith

I have been a secretary, first counselor, and second counselor. I am currently providing service as a ward missionary as I count down the days before I embark on my own mission to serve in New Zealand Hamilton under the direction of the God Head. I am excited to start this magnificent journey and teaching and trying experience.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is hard. Everyone is watching for you to make a mistake, some will esteem and others mock. But that is just distractions when it comes to the sheer and divine joy and happiness found in the church. It's hard, but nothing that comes easy is ever worth anything. Show more Show less
