Hi I'm Micah

I grew up in Bountiful Utah. I am excited to serve the Lord for two years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah for the majority of my life. I love fishing, hiking, boating, and just about anything that has to do with the outdoors. I just graduated high school, and my favorite classes were always in math and science. I was accepted into BYU and I will be attending after my mission. I am excited to go serve the Lord for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel, and my parents have always been strong members. They taught me to live the teachings in all areas in my life and as I have, I have been blessed for doing so. Seeing the blessings that I have received in all the areas in my life has given my a testimony of my own that I now want to share with others. As I have read the Book of Mormon multiple times now, I can say that I know that it is true. Each time that I read its teachings, my testimony grows stronger, and I learn things that I missed in the past. I know that there are prophets and apostles who receive revelation from the Lord today, to guide and direct our church, just as they have done in every dispensation. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and atoned for the sins of all mankind, and in doing so I can use the atoning process today to become clean. I know that the commandments given to us are not there to restrict us, but rather to help us become the best that we can be. This gospel has changed my life for the better, and I know that it is the only true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I have been actively engaged in the church my whole life. As I have been given church callings, I have tried to serve the best that I can to be an example to others in my classes and show them how I love the gospel. My dad and I are home teaching companions, and we teach two families once a month. As we have taught these families, I have grown to love them, and my testimony has grown stronger as I have had the opportunity to share it with them. I try to participate in as many ward service projects as I can, because I am happiest when I am helping others.
