Hi I'm Kennedi

I'm a CMA who loves the medical field and helping others. Called to serve: Argentina Comodoro Rivadavia (2016-2018). I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in the beautiful state of Utah. Called to serve in Argentina Comodoro Rivadavia. Part of a proud Mormon-military family. I have an undeniable love for the medical field and helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be, simple as that. My family has taught me the value of living up to the name that I hold. Well, I hold more than just the name given to me at birth, Kennedi. I hold Christ's name and I earnestly strive to live up to this as well. I took this name upon me at my baptism and I made a promise to God that I would always follow Him and try to be like Him in all that I do. To me it was more than a promise to the man who created me, it was a life long goal that I have set out to achieve. This goal I have set out before me, it has helped me gain standards in a world full of "you only live once", these standards help govern my life and they aid me in my decision making. I am a Mormon because I have found comfort and happiness in the truth that this gospel brings me. I am a Mormon, I have been asked to deny my faith; I cannot deny what I know, without a doubt, to be true. I am a Mormon because I believe what I have been taught, I know it for my self, and I love it with my entire heart.

How I live my faith

Living the faith is not always easy, even in Utah where the predominant public is of the same LDS beliefs. The best way that I have found to effectively live my faith is with the simple things; reading my scriptures, attending church services, participating in service activities, praying to my Father in Heaven, visiting the temple, inviting the missionaries over or helping them find more contacts, keeping the word of wisdom, making and keeping my covenants, and also listening to conference talks as I get ready in the mornings. Recently I have been called to serve an LDS mission in Argentina Comodoro Rivadavia, as I prepare to serve I live my faith by studying the spanish language, preparing family names to take to the temple, studying my scriptures in both the english and the spanish languages and by simply living by the standards I was taught at a young age.
