Hi I'm Emily Chantry

I am an Aspiring Event Planner, a Full-time Missionary in West Virginia, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people, and am working towards becoming an event planner! I am currently serving an 18 month mission in West Virginia. I love looking at the stars & hiking. I was born and raised near Spokane, Washington in the United States of America. I love my home, and the beautiful trees and mountains that surround it! I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that through Him I find peace and that I have been called to bring that peace to others. I often times find joy in the little things, and I am able to do so because of my religion, which is centered on Christ. Through my religion, and my faith in Christ I have gained an understanding that I am a daughter of God, and that Heavenly Father has a plan for me! I wake up each day with a sense of purpose, and I can't imagine my life without it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it is Christ's true church restored to the earth through living prophets, to guide, and help us return to God's presence. I am not just a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it is a major part of me. Jesus Christ is my savior, and my friend. When I was eight years old I chose to be baptized and join this church. However, every day since then I have committed to being an example and representative of Jesus Christ, and that is a choice that I will continue to make.

How I live my faith

Sharing what I've learned, and what is important to me, is the one of the main ways that I live my faith. Actions speak louder than words, so I strive to show people what I believe by doing my best to follow the Savior.
