Hi I'm Jackson

I was born and raised in Idaho, USA. I'm serving in the Canada Toronto Mission. I'm hoping to one day be a surgeon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors and athletics. I competed in cross country and track in high school, running mid-distance and distance. My favorite sports to do are swimming, mountain biking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, basketball, racquetball, and running. Following my mission, in the fall of 2018 I will be attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, to study Neuroscience and Mathematics. I hope to one day enter the medical field.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel brings me such light and happiness. It doesn't prevent negative circumstances - those happen to all - but it provides an incredibly solid rock that I can hold onto, and when I slip away, the light emanated provides easy passage back to stability. I have a testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, through the Church and through my own experiences. I know that no matter what I do I can be forgiven, and I am promised that the Lord "remembers [my sins] no more." I know this to be true.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a two-year mission for the Church in Toronto, Canada. It is purely voluntary, and I am assigned my location. I am set apart as a full-time missionary, as a representative of Jesus Christ to invite all to come unto Him, and to teach them of His gospel and glorious Plan of Happiness.
