Hi I'm Shae Modersitzki

I am a student at BYU, getting ready to head out on a mission to Tokyo, Japan!

About Me

I grew up in Highland, Utah and attended Lone Peak High School. I have been a dancer ever since I was 3 years old, love anything and everything about the water, and love meeting people! I attended Brigham Young University this last year and now am preparing to go serve a mission in Japan!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness I feel with the gospel. I have read the Book of Mormon for myself and know that without a doubt it is true. Every time I read it I am able to find something in it that pertains to my life and answers my questions. I have prayed to my Father in Heaven and received countless answers testifying of the truthfulness of this gospel. I know that my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, love me and that they are there to support and comfort me throughout my life. I am grateful for the Atonement, and for the opportunity it creates for me to return to live with my Father in Heaven someday. This church brings joy, and I am grateful to be able to partake of it each and every day.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example and serving others. One way that I will soon do this full time will be as a missionary in Japan. I am so excited to be able to devote 18 months to the gospel. I want others to know of the truth and joy that I feel with the gospel, and by sharing that message with them, I am living my faith.
