Hi I'm Antonia

I will be serving an 18-month mission in Mexico. I enjoy movies, public libraries, and being with my siblings. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California, but five moves later I now call Illinois my home, where I live with my family - mom, dad, little siblings, two dogs, and an odd-eyed cat. When I'm not hanging out with family you can find me geeking out over movie trailers or fangirling over Korean boy bands. I'm taking a break from my studies to serve a mission in the Mexico City North Mission. Music, reading, more music, and sleeping are some of my favorite pastimes.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I may have been born into a Mormon faith, I truly know for myself that this gospel is true. I have always known that the church was true, but it wasn't until I went away to college that I truly knew it for myself. At college, no one told you to read your scriptures, say your prayers, or go to church. Instead, I had to personally make those decisions, and in doing so I realized why I was doing so: because it was and is the right thing to do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best person I can be through serving others and being an example. I firmly believe that by helping others we not only can help others but ourselves as well. As a young adult in my church, I try to be a good example, not only for my younger siblings, but for the other youth in the church as well. I hold high standards that I do my best to try and live by.
