Hi I'm George Winn

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Graduated from BYU. Worked for 34 years as a hospital administrator. Now retired. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I loved working in hospitals. They are amazing places where much good work - often life-changing work - is done. Now I enjoy being retired. I retired as early as possible so that I could then spend as much time as possible serving - helping to build God's Kingdom on earth. I married Julie and we have five amazing children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a lifelong Mormon that has been converted and re-converted many times over. I did not find it hard to gain a testimony, but I have found it extremely hard to keep a testimony. It takes a lot of work! I love Mormon doctrine and theology. If I had not been born into a Mormon family I would have eventually found the Mormon church. I am a diligent seeker of truth, and in Mormon doctrine I firmly believe lie the highest and most enlightened concepts about man and his eternal potential.

How I live my faith

I served as a full time missionary in the Washington DC area back in the 1970s. I served as a ward mission leader in Oregon and again in West Jordan. I love sharing the gospel with others.
