Hi I'm Jezrah

Born in the Philippines. Moved to Toronto, Canada. BYU Provo student. Korea Seoul South Mission (2016-2018)

About Me

I was born in the Philippines, but my family moved to Canada when I was 10. I just finished my freshman year in BYU and I am currently a missionary serving in the Korea Seoul South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have been members of the Church before I was born so I've been raised in a Mormon household all my life. Despite this, I have come to know for myself that the Church is true. I've encountered a lot of challenges in my life which hindered my progression, but because God continually shows His love for me I am motivated to strive to become a better person each day. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the only true Church on earth that has the full restored gospel of Jesus Christ and it has helped me realize the true purpose of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my quiet example. I am not one to easily share my religion to others right away so I just simply live my life following the standards that the Lord has given. I know it may not seem much, but people actually notice. A lot of my non-member friends always knew I was different from others. I don't swear, wear immodest clothing, nor intake any harmful substances like drugs, alcohol and tobacco. Through my example, they have come to respect my standards and they admire the fact that I continually hold fast to them. They always tell me that they want to be like me and because of that, I have helped them change for the better.
