Hi I'm Troy

I've lived in Oregon, Utah, France and Califrnia. My wife and I have been married for 29 years and we have a daughter and a son.

About Me

I have been in business management and I am currently a teacher. I like the out of doors and enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and riding bikes. When I was 19, I severed my ACL in a skiing accident that has limited my activity in sports which include running and jumping. I did keep doing those things until I was about 35. I then cut back on them trying to save my knee. Even though I had limitations, I was able to help coach some of my son's baseball and basketball teams. Through the years, I have also be able to be one of my son's scout leaders. My daughter has been involved in band, choir, and drama, so I have been able to help out moving props onto the field in band competitions and building sets for plays. My family is very important to me. During my life, I have lived in Oregon, Utah, France and California.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus is the Christ and he has restored his church and his priesthoon on the earth. The keys of sealing families together has been restored. I am happy that my family has been sealed together offering us the path to an eternal family after this earthly life.

How I live my faith

I like to serve others.I have served the youth as a scout leader for years. The gospel of Jesus Christ helps strengthen people through trials as well as help them to accomplish hard things. He loves us and wants us to be the best we can be. Sometimes, it means helping us through tough times to strengthen us. We just need to turn to him in faith. If we look for his hand in our live, we will find it. If we turn to him, we can find ways we can be a tool in his hand to help others.
