Hi I'm Dwayne

I grew up in California, graduated from College as a Civil Engineer & just retired from being a garbage specialist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am newly retired from a career as a Civil/Environmental Engineer. My wife and I are the proud parents of 6 six children with 27 grandchildren living in 5 states. We have traveled to all 50 states and enjoy boating and service. Service as a Scout leader, Rotarian, City, political and Church volunteer, each in different capacities have made life very enjoyable.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born into an active LDS family I had to decide for myself as some point whether I wanted to regularly attend church, accept requests to serve in the local Ward, live the Word of Wisdom, pay tithing, serve a mission or admit to others that I WAS/AM a Mormon. I quickly realized that I KNEW that God loves us and he gave us a Living Prophet to guide us through this journey of life.

How I live my faith

As I have found service to others makes me happy, I have tried to always be willing to help where there is a need. Be it, in the neighborhood as an active member of the homeowners association, willing member of City committees, serving in civic/social groups such as Rotary, church service as a youth leader of Scouts, Young Adults, teaching, and visiting others in need.
